Around the house

I thought I would finally post some pictures of some things around the house. I like our house more and more everyday. It really suits our little family well. This post will be picture heavy, hope you enjoy!

Looking from living room into the 3rd bedroom/play room. This space is awesome right now, excited to see how we use it in the future.
In the playroom we were given this beauty from my parents. Chloe loves to play it and I have tried to play out of this Christmas book that I must have used before my piano teacher fired me as a student and told me to quit (true story). I can actually play a few songs and love having a piano in the house.
We get to see Grandma a lot since we live only a couple of miles away!

4 Wonderful Years

Yesterday, Brent and I celebrated our 4 year anniversary. It was a wonderful evening out with him going to a local Indian restaurant and gazing at one another. We ate some delicious food and Brent surprised me with this wonderful necklace he noticed me admiring online (so thoughtful!). I love it. Mostly I have loved the last 4 years of my life. Granted, it has been full of LOTS of change and some of the hardest emotional places I have been in awhile. Yet, constantly I am reminded of the love of God from my husband. He is such a gift from above. Such a kind soul and sees and encourages me so well. I feel so blessed and am really glad that we didn't marry younger (good news for my single friends out there). We have a richness in our marriage and gratitude because of it. I love it that almost every night before we go to sleep we tell one another how grateful we are for one another. I posted a wedding picture because I just love how my husband looks at me and this captures it pretty well. Here's to many, many more years together.
