Too big for her britches

Our baby girl is growing and growing some more! Last week I bought a few more 12mth sleepers and low and behold this is what I found after putting one on...We call her bottom, her 'boots' for some reason...it is cute! I would love it if any of you mamas with long babies could tell me brands that work, and ones I should avoid. After realizing she is long for her age I remembered a 12 month swimsuit I had gotten on clearance and decided to try it on her. Fits like a glove at 7 months. She REALLY liked being in it. I wish I could say the same about being in mine, thank God I have 4-5 months before I have to reveal my post-pregnancy body at the pool. Let's just say I will be looking for a one piece again.

Hmmm...as a mom of a tall gal, I don't have many brand suggestions for you. I think Carter's has always worked well for Hannah, but we still had to usually go up a size or so.

She sure is a cutie! Hopefully I'll be up for hanging out at the pool with you all this summer...bringing my post-prego body as well!

We use carter's as well. I think all of her sleepers are carter's. I will say that it looks like it may become more challenging as she seems to be stretching out more and wearing pullups and panties (less bulky than her cloth diapers). I will let you know what we find. C's swimwear is so cute!!

I agree. We use Carter's. Have also had a lot of luck with baby gap...just no luck on winning the lottery so we can afford baby gap :)

Hope was a long baby and that pic could be like one from our album. Unfortunately, our experience is ancient history now so I am unable to suggest any brands.

I forgot to mention that I always look for adjustable waistbands. I haven't found a pair of jeans that will fit her well without the adjustable waistband. Good luck!

Can't belive how big Chloe is getting - what a cutie! I have to say all my kids were long and we just always went a size up in sleepers - esp footie one's but even the 2 piece cotton seem to run small.
