Cupcake Pops!

Well friends, I actually did it. I was helping host a baby shower and thought it was the perfect opportunity to make the famous cupcake pops. Inspiration and directions came solely from Bakerella and The Pioneer Woman. I must say they were a bit time intensive. I am glad that I baked the cake, crumbled it, added frosting and made it into balls one evening. The next day, after letting the balls chill in the fridge I shaped them, dipped them and decorated. The whole process probably took about 2 hours for about 60 cupcake pops. They turned out so cute and kids and grown-ups really liked them. I think if I make them again I will try and cut a few steps out to make it easier (not shaping each one). If you ever want to try and make these I would love to give tips or come over have a cupcake pop making party. It sure would be fun to do with a group of people.
